Dr. Brittney (Dullard) Carlson

Brittney Carlson
Dr. Carlson is a research associate in the Aural Rehabilitation Laboratory. She earned her doctorates in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut. She completed her dissertation on measures of self-efficacy for hearing aid users and completed a post-doc at the National Center for Auditory and Rehabilitation Research (NCRAR) in Portland, OR. Dr. Carlson is currently the director of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Assistant Professor at Elms College.  She is also treasurer-elect for the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology. Her research interests include aural rehabilitation, the impact of dual sensory impairment, and the investigation of outcome measures for amplification.
