Shannon Wannagot
Shannon is in her final year of the dual degree (Au.D./Ph.D.) program in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Her research interests are aural rehabilitation and amplification in the pediatric population. She recently completed data collection for her dissertation project titled “Effects of perceptual masking on speech understanding in adverse listening environments.” She plans to defend her work in the upcoming year.  Shannon was an NIH T-35 trainee at Boystown National Research Hospital under the direction of Dr. Dawna Lewis. She is an educational audiologist at CREC Soundbridge where she completed her Au.D. externship year. Shannon also served as a fellow for the UCONN Pediatric LEND training grant. She is an adjunct faculty member at Elms College, MA.
